As explained, BIOS no longer recognises it in either computers. It simply hangs looking for the HDD for a looooong time and then just quits. Opening the chest cavity did not reveal any obvious serial comms. There are several unmarked pads on the board. No removable chips. All surface mount. Closing chest cavity........ P.S.
