I would check with your manufacturer of the mother board 
in your machine. If you use the wrong memory you will 
have nothing but problems and it may even damage your 
mother board making it useless. Also now that you have 
upgraded the speed of the CPU, this is also something to 
consider about the speed of cache and ram as well. It 
would not be good to have a speedy CPU slowed down by 
the wrong cache and RAM. Just my 2cents worth.
