Everytime I tell my developers and analysts that 96 parallel servers is too 
many for one process of 6 separately executed sqlplus sessions, they just don't 
get it...or understand why they didn't get the number of parallel slaves they 
requested....  so I'm right there with you at least two, three times a 
month when some idiot attempts something like the above.. :P

Oh I don't know Kellyn, "please just stop using parallelism" seems like a very 
good suggestion to me quite a lot of the time.  I know it should please stop 
abusing parallel query, but sometimes I just think life would be better if it 
had never been invented, :(
