Brandon,

Among our customers who are applying PSUs, we recommend that they do the
patch conflict detection at least a week before their scheduled patching
window, and then aggregate all of their conflicts and present them to
Oracle.

From there, it seems fairly common that the overlays are already
available, as long as there's only a small number of one-offs. Where
the delays come in is where a customer has two one-off patches that are
dependent or related in some way, and hence require a custom joint
overlay patch.

Matt

When you've had to request one-off overlay patches for your PSU, about
how long did it take to get them? I'm just curious if I should expect
to wait days, weeks or months? (I understand it will vary from situation
to situation, but I'm just curious what your experience has been)

If you have a one-off patch that is in conflict with the PSU
