Ultra edit (syntax highlighting) for code; Toad for step thru
debugging showing how variables change or if your code sucks l(like
mine) where it drops out for whatever damage you inflict (bad arrays,
poor cursor handling etc).
The pl/sql message that code is compiled is not entirely true (in my
case bad code is bad code) and any logic bombs etc. is purely my
fault.
Take Steven F. class or get his book on PL/SQL. I found a used copy
on addall.com for 3.95 plus shipping:
