Hmmm.  Just when you thought object-based compression was all over, people
start looking for tutorials. I've seen pretty amazing demos using
object-based compression back when, but that's where it stayed - demos only.

Impressive amount of stuff on mpeg 4 (mostly carrying your name;-)), but
actually I was refering to mpeg 2, to put me straight on the issue of
macro-block, sampling, dct and so...

I was shown an actual product, it seems to be available, but not sure if
that is the version I saw.
