Actually, it's even worse.
Sony currently sells HDTV displays that are 5:4, 4:3, and 16:9; a few
months ago, they sold one that was 5:3. Other manufacturers currently
sell 8:5 models (calling them 16:10, because that's better than 16:9,
right?).
