same location July 8 of last year. Pale gray flycatcher with white
eye-ring, orange and black bill, short primary projection, faint yellow on
belly, and long, narrow tail with white edge. Constant downward tail
pumping, "whit" and "chiwip" calls, etc. It was later joined by a second
empid too distant too positively ID, but based on the behavior and the way
it was associating with the GRFL I strongly suspect it to have been a
second GRFL. Both were flycatching low (<10-15') from the manzanita and
highland brush that are abundant in the meadow of Bigelow Lakes. Photos."

time with all visible at once 10 feet apart again, into thick willows. We
have never seen three at one time in Harney County. Maybe they nested
since at least one has been spotted I this area for over a month. A cool 51
degree day. Photos."
