This issue just came up for a friend of mine applying for remote positions
within a different IT company. So I did some digging and discovered that
Colorado has a law that states that any company posting national job posts
for remote work must disclose their salary and benefits ranges for the
position. This has led to companies now excluding remote Colorado workers
in their talent search. Currently, I am not aware of any other U.S. state
that requires this kind of hiring transparency.

I was CMTS for 11 years and never got promoted.
Left and came back 5 yrs later as Architect.
Another thing to know is same job grade has different status depending
where in the organization.
RWP team is associated directly with Database Development and higher
status than in other areas of company.

I am not very familiar with the job titles but I think PMTS is higher
than CMTS and so got paid more bucks, right? Why does a PMTS with the exact
same skill matrix (What do you work on/Who you are) does get paid more when
it even requires less experience (7 year for PMTS vs +8 years for CMTS)?
Sounds strange to me ;-)
