I've been flying over this thread and think what you have done is great.
'set-sample-rate' command, and samplerate managing is a good thing.
No old nama project to test on, my music projects are on hold for quite a while
now.

I think it will be better to have Jeanette's command,
as a regular command, i'm proposing 'set-sample-rate'
so that it shows up in the help system, which I'm also
sniffing around.
