No, I have not made any changes to the OLD/Original (Windows
Messenger)or do an Uninstall or Reinstall. From what I have seen with
other posts on other lists, Windows Messenger is not easy to Uninstall
(I have been unable to find any info in Add/Remove Programs - for
Uninstalling Windows Messenger).

Now, When I look under Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs, I see an
entry for MSN Messenger (but still nothing for Windows Messenger).

It appears that Windows Messenger is linked to Outlook 2002, but that
MSN Messenger is a separate/New messenger program (like AOL IM, Yahoo
IM, etc...).

This doesn't sound like an Update to me... I am just wondering what
happened here & if other Windows Messenger users have experienced this
issue.

Thanks for the Reply.
---Paul

Did you make any changes or uninstall and reinstall
the old version?
