Hi, all. I am trying to create a bootable floppy in XP using the "Create an MS-DOS startup disk" function, but a few moments after I've inserted the floppy I get the following message: "An unexpected I/O error has occurred." Why is this? I read in a forum of someone having a similar problem and he has replaced the floppy drive and cables without correcting the fault. I have Windows XP and 512 megs of Ram. I have an 80 gb HDD, a DVD-ROM, a Ricoh DVD writer and a 40 GB Samsung removable HDD. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Kind Regards, Ted. -------- ================================== To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/winxplist.cfm
