Darlene,

I'd strongly suggest you convert it to a PDF file. Then:

(a) people won't be able to alter it and
(b) people won't need to have Publisher installed to be able to read it
(which they would need if you put it on the site as a publisher file!)

There are many freeware and shareware products which will produce PDF
versions - suggest you do a Google.

Ray

Subject: [mso] protecting publisher files

I didn't know if that would mess up the thread and put things out of
order.... ha
Is there a way to protect publisher files? I want to send out the
catalog I designed with publisher to people that request it from my
website, but I don't want them to be able to change the document
itself. I
just want them to be able to view the document.

Thanks
Dar
