Yes it does work. You might just be in the wrong template dir depending
on the version of Windows you have, plus, you must put a file in the new
folder to get the tab to show up.

Just go to the master template dir, add a folder and toss a template in
it and it'll become a new tab on your file/new dialog. I have about
20.<smirk>

Subject: [mso] Word 2002 - Creating A New Template Tab

Does anyone know how to create a new template tab for company-specific
templates in Word 2002? In addition to the standard tabs (General,
Legal
Pleadings, Letters and Faxes, Mail Merge, etc.) I would like to have a
tab
that contains my custom templates.

The method I once used doesn't work in Word 2002.

Thanks,
PJM
