Hi Stephen - I also had this same problem and when I read your question, I
also, like Linda, figured it for an HP problem. I have a workaround that
works for me. I make a text box with a visible line to fit the page and
then merely type my text inside it. Drove me nuts for a long time before I
settled for the workaround but it's good. Dianne
