Have you tried dragging the extra mail merge entries off the Tools menu
while you have the Customize dialog box open?

And, as for the missing pictures, go to Tools>Options and click on the View
tab and be sure there is NOT a check beside Picture Placeholders.

Subject: [mso] Word 2000

Using Word 2000, when I click on Tools the menu opens with 15+ "mail merge"
listed. Have tried running Detect and Repair, tried to reset the tool bar
but the check mark will not come out, uninstalled and reinstalled Word,
reloaded Normal style - - - continues to list all of the mail merges - - -
also when I insert a price of clip art it does not appear there is a blank
box - - -

Any suggestions would be appreciated - - -

Bill
