Dian; I have a favor to ask. Will you and the rest of the tech support team, please do this one check? Before you send out a message with a URL, make sure it is underlined, active. By doing this, you can, place the cursor at the end of the URL, hit the SPACE bar one time. This will activate the URL. Otherwise, if it is a link I want to check out, then I have to forward the message to me, and edit like above. www.mousetrax.com/maintain.html Also, it will help cut down on having to copy and paste. Please consider this. Thank you, JIM ============================== Dian Chapman <dian@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Your comments are absolutely correct, Anne. However, in this particular case, this error is an issue that has several meanings...some of them due to bugs and various goofy reasons. But what you said is true...if the temp file is jammed with junk, it'll cause your PC to go goofy and can cause tons of crashes. That is what I explain in this article. The size of the temp file that Word will be working with will place a serious drain on the poor old RAM and - as a humble operator, not techie like others around these parts ;-) - make Word more liable to crash as it struggles to find the memory it needs to run AT ALL! Or will somebody tell me I've got it wrong? :-) Anne ================== -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dian Chapman Sent: 26 October 2003 16:33 To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Re: WORD 2000 FILE LIMITS >The file wasn't too big, still hovering about 11G.
