Just as an FYI...different countries have different laws about what software
can be purchases and used within their countries. The US allows just about
everything...but some countries only allow the sale of software in their
native language. Guess...like France...they don't want to in infest their
country with foreign languages! ;-)

Sorry..I hit send too fast on that last one...ooops

Anyway...Anne said "I would feel
happier, for instance, knowing I had upgraded Word and Excel to make them
better/faster/more appropriate to my needs on a modular cost basis than
having paid out for something that perhaps contains substantial improvements
to - say - Access which I hardly use but which is part of the Office Suite
I've purchased."

Well...you CAN buy the individual programs here in the States...tho I have
never seen the advantage in that, cuz you pay more for two individual
programs than you do for the whole suite....but, I'm curious...you can't do
that in the UK? Or, are you saying you buy the whole suite so the programs
within it are compatible?
