Hi Linda,

Thanks for your thoughts.

I experimented with the unread search folder and learned somethings, but
still don't get no satisfaction. In that unread search folder, if I mark a
message as read, it is still visible. What I liked in XP was the ability to
mark read and the message disappears from the view. Now I have to refresh.
I used to be able to click, click, click and move through messages. Now I
have to click, click, click, clear clutter, click, .......

I do use the favorite folders list and have some search folders up there
already, but don't have a solution to heal this particular loss ;-). I will
read your review and experiment some more and see if I can tweak it more to
my liking.

Diane P in the (outlook list) suggested that I run outlook with the
cleanviews switch to clear out all of my outlook xp views so I can start
fresh with "arrangements". That seems worth doing as well.

Thanks.........Peter
