FYI...there HAVE BEEN some issues reported. I'd have to check my notes
to verify the details, but I know I was working with MS on this one,
although they were unable to duplicate the problem. Some months ago, in
fact, I posted a group wide request to anyone asking them if they had
been able to put 97 on XP with any success. As I fairly remember, it
works, but once you add the SR2 update, there was an issue. If you need
the details, I can try to look them up again this weeks.

Note...I also do remember that one woman said she didn't have the same
problem as the others, but then she only added Word and not all of
Office on WinXP, so it appears to be a problem with all the Office
components.

Web Page may the wrong definition. Ex: this AM I went to the
About.com/Barbecue Site and copied a few recipes, within the site, by
highlighting text and the drawings/photos. Hit Ctrl/c, went to word doc
& chose edit/paste special, unformatted text. No drawings/photos but got
all text. Sometime the drawings/photos are critical to the text document
but I never get it. I think, in my ignorance, there must be a way. Same
results by selecting Ctrl/v but hard to work with document. BTW, if I
upgrade to WXP will WO97 work?
