Actually, I hadn't thought of that, but Jacques is right...try deleting temp
files, John...that indeed could be the problem
I assume you know how to delete temp files, but for any others in here who
don't, here's my page of instructions on that:

Temp files cause all kinds of weird problems and Office is notorious for
leaving them behind when they should have been deleted automatically....so I
should have thought of this...thanks for the reminder, Jacques

This may happen when the computer is overloaded. Too much memory
saturated. So, just try (tentatively) to close some other programs and
use System-Mechanics (Iolo publisher) to wipe off all the junk temp and
bak and msi files.
