Sorry, missed that one. No, I did not, he was offline and office was
installed through an administrative share on the network so I didn't think
it would work since the media was on the network.

Ok...you answered every question I asked EXCEPT this one:

Have you tried Detect and Repair?

Sorry for the lack of details, I was on the phone and in a rush when I typed
that. I'll split up your questions and answer them the best I can. He was
describing this problem to me over the phone.

What happens when he/she tries? - He said he clicks on the cell he wants
filled, clicks the fill button, chooses the color he wants and clicks it.
Nothing happens. Tried it in the document he was working on and a new blank
file.

Does he/she have a fill bucket on his/her Formula Toolbar or is it missing?
- It's there.

Can he/she not fill cells by clicking on that? - No.

Are there no colors in there? - Colors are there.

Can he/she fill them by going to the Format menu and choosing Cells and
clicking on the Patterns tab? - Fills, no, Patterns I believe he said
worked. I'll have to double check that.

Does he/she see colors in there? - yes.

Does he/she get an error message? - No.
