[mountainmilers] Sunday Run

I know many of you are going to Surprise to race in the Desert Marathon-1/2-5K.
Good luck and good weather wishes. In my quest to train for the Whiskey Row 2
mile fun run, I need to get some miles in. Is anyone interested in running at
Groom Creek on Sunday morning? I checked out the road, and it is only icy in
one place on the pavement where the water melts and freezes from snowmelt
running across the road. The dirt section has a couple of places where it is
damp but not muddy. My thinking is to start at 9AM and get a 10K done. The
weather is supposed to be the same...High 59. Let me know.
