Hi Clif, I had the same problem with the Modelworks clacks although I had
replaced them with s/steel balls. I dont know if their measuremnts are correct
for the lift so I just decided to replace all fittings with bought ones from
Blackgates. I had heard of this problem with their fittings on other locos
Brits, 9F's etc so its no surprise.
