You are right, the move is taking place. The reason is simple, the Wembley
venue, which is of course right next door to Wembley Stadium, is about to be
demolished. There is a short editorial on this in Engineering in Miniature,
November 2004.

Never mind Donington, I've just heard a rumour that there will be no Wembley
exhibition next year. It is apparently moving to the MEX's old home of
Alexandra Palace - does anyone know any more about this?
