I seem to remember that one of my books on workshop practice suggests that
the table should be angled slightly. A colleague has just got a drill from
Warco, and that's slightly angled. I'll have to look it up when I get back
home, and I'll be off list for a few days - another business trip - the
18th this year so far, with at least another 5 to go.
