You have a great point. So here then is a question. What would I want
in terms of configuring a Mac? Does anyone know if a Mac Mini has
wireless support?

oh, I'm all for instant gratification but I love a mystery. When will
the box arrive or boxes? what will they / it smell like? how heavy
will it be? how big will it be? What will it be packed like? and
oh, the joy of sitting here in airconditioned comfort waiting for it
to do all the travelling for me and I don't have to take all that time
and spend all that energy going to get it only to find that the model
I want is not available or they can't configure it the way I want it.

But Dave, you just don't understand being impulsive! When I decide to
buy a Mac, I won't want to wait a week or so for it, I'm gonna want it
now!
Maybe I should just get over that one, eh?

Hi Richard,

I purchased my iPhone from a Rogers outlet, and had a similar
experience... techno lust and all! <smile> I love that term! I
called and found out that they only had 1 16 gig black iPhone left. I
explained that I was blind and would need to take a cab over, so would
they hold it for me, and he told me that they couldn't do that.
Luckily, I called a cab right away, and the phone was still there when
I arrived.

Now, as for my iMac, I'll be buying it at "My Mac Dealer", which is
quite a bit further away. I called them yesterday to make sure they
have one in stock. I was told that they had 2 iMac 20" in stock. I
told them that I was blind and have a way to get over there this
afternoon, and could they hold one of them for me. He told me that it
wouldn't be a problem, and is holding it for me, so I think I'll have
a good experience with this store.

Thanks,

Russell
