Hi Dan, If you go to your local Best Buy, they are they carry Apple and Mac products, and for about $100, you can get a relatively inexpensive monitor which is portable. They have flat screens that are very light and easy to pack around. I don't know what the currency rate is in the UK, but perhaps you have a store that will carry inexpensive monitors over there.
