No, it's not tax. It's called inflation and also 'gouging' I think you
called it. And the difference is, I DON'T HAVE to pay for things on
penalty of jail.

>Where are the complaints?

I complain every day and I DO something by NOT paying for these things. I
refuse to pay 4 times the amount I paid for something when I used to make
half as much. That's not commensurate. And THAT's what is happening. You
think the government cares? HELL NO. I can't even give your old clunker
(which apparently has a blue-book value of $5000) to my daughter without
her having to pay a hefty 400 (sales tax) levy. The government LOVES the
high prices. They work on piece-work you know!

I'm not surprised. I'd have to be stupid.

I would be able to spend my OWN money on things I want to instead of giving
more than half of it to a government to subsidize a bunch of people who
AREN'T giving half of THEIR money. For ME, personally, it would be an
'improved' life. It kills me that people who make paltry sums of money, and
people on public assistance can get free dental care while I CAN'T AFFORD
to go to the dentist. I'm literally sacrificing MY own comfort for theirs.
That's simply not right.
