Someone needs to tell my Aunt & Uncle, currently housing and caring (on a
semi-retired professor's salary) for my 90 year old Grandmother who has
Alzheimers. There are a couple affordable nursing homes in the (Seattle) area
....
but you wouldn't want to leave your family pet there for a weekend.

the silver lining.....

So Americans have stopped granny-dumping? (and nursing homes suddenly
became affordable there?)
