Dear Andy,
If you go back through what I have written you will find it hard, I
believe, to point to an instance in which I have labeled you
personally or speculated about your character. I have called your
arguments simplistic, irrelevant, even bullshit but have tried pretty
consistently to adhere to the old Christian principle "Hate the sin
but not the sinner."
Your hypotheticals with the boss fall into the irrelevant category as
far as I am concerned. Why? Because a boss abusing a another adult is
not the same as a parent spanking a child between the ages of two and
ten or twelve, especially if the spankings are rare, which they should
be.
