That disk would make a nice swap drive, but it completely, fundamentally
too small if you wish to learn Linux. I would start with a bare MINIMUM
of 1Gig. All this about Linux having less software available than
windows is a laughable and flagrant falsehood. Linux has FAR more
software available for it than there is for Windows, and trust me,
you'll want to play with it.
