Sounds trivial as long as these commits don't touch other files (code).

I'd be interested in a use case for this one.

So I tried a different approach and looked at the Mikes commits.
Unfortunately we haven't kept up with his changes and some of them
seem to address the computer braille problem. OK, I thought, let's see
if his changes help with the regressions. Alas when cherry picking his
stuff I ran into major conflicts because Davy made the code in
ueb_update more modular.
I'm working on this now and I seem to make some headway. The merging is very
tedious but I'm down to 9 regressions (from 10). There still are some commits
to go, so there is hope for more regressions slaying :-)
