Hi Aram!
nice shots. Sounds like a wonderful day.
We got up early and drove from Yosemite to my father-in-law in SoCal, so
we were just on the road all day long. Not nearly as exciting.
So what does "Boxing Day" mean?

Here, December 26th, the day after Christmas (called "Boxing Day" in------

The weather was mild -- about -2 to -3C (26 to 28F in the USA) and we
had about 100mm (4 inches) of fresh snow. The winds were gentle at
<5kph (just over 3mph) so Rose and I drove out to nearby Leighton
Lake... and had a picnic. We built a fire, roasted hot-dogs, and
finished it all off with some hot chocolate, German "Stolen" and
Rose's home-made gum-drop cake. (A holiday tradition at our home. )

Late in the day, the view out to the lake looked like this...

And the ice fishermen were preparing to call it a day, too.

What did you do?
