Here, December 26th, the day after Christmas (called "Boxing Day" in Canada &
the UK; "St. Stephen's Day" in Ireland and just another business day in the
USA), is a holiday.
The weather was mild -- about -2 to -3C (26 to 28F in the USA) and we had about
100mm (4 inches) of fresh snow. The winds were gentle at <5kph (just over
3mph) so Rose and I drove out to nearby Leighton Lake... and had a picnic. We
built a fire, roasted hot-dogs, and finished it all off with some hot
chocolate, German "Stolen" and Rose's home-made gum-drop cake. (A holiday
tradition at our home. ) [Burp!]
Late in the day, the view out to the lake looked like this...

And the ice fishermen were preparing to call it a day, too.

What did you do?
David.
