I would like to feebly lodge a slight protest - I wasn’t imbibing “anything
fermented that I could get my hands on”. I opened a gift of a lovely Cabernet
from your region, Okanagan, and then moved on to a Reisling from the Niagara
Peninsula in Ontario; when no one else wanted to sample either of them I just
couldn’t let them go to waste. So, let me give a shout out to anyone on the
list who hasn’t tried Canadian wines yet, please take the time and effort to
give them a try sometime - they are excellent!

Whoa pilgrim! Mr Young, those are two spectacular images! The ice-------
fishermen image really "caught" my attention...pardon the pun. The
composition and perhaps the cropping just really appeal to my eye, not
that the sunset wasn't wonderful, too. They are both most certainly
keepers! Thanks for showing them to us.
To answer your question, "What did you do?"... uh, I don't think you want
to see photographic expression of the hangover...but I assure you it was a
fine evening that caused it - sadly, or thankfully, there were also no
images of it for keepsake/sharing or... to be used as evidence.

business day in the USA), is a holiday.
The weather was mild -- about -2 to -3C (26 to 28F in the USA) and we
had about 100mm (4 inches) of fresh snow. The winds were gentle at
<5kph (just over 3mph) so Rose and I drove out to nearby Leighton
Lake... and had a picnic. We built a fire, roasted hot-dogs, and
finished it all off with some hot chocolate, German "Stolen" and
Rose's home-made gum-drop cake. (A holiday tradition at our home. )
