IMHO this is what AF is. It's good for selling cameras and it works
well enough at moderate apertures where conventional wisdom says
lenses are optimum... but where DOF is shallow such as macro or when
using large apertures (where Leica lenses often perform better than
conventional wisdom) AF fails.
