So, a hand held 800mm at 1/250 sec. That is VERY impressive.
No, Aram. Hand held at 400mm at 1/250th. The FoV is 800mm due to the smaller sensor, but the f/l is still 400. Still, for hand-held, w/o shoulder stock or pistol grip, I think it's OK!
Gives me confidence that when I get out with the birdies (another few weeks, it seems, though the first Canadian Jays, Thrushes and Canada Honkers, not to mention a few Red-winged Blackbirds, are here now), once the backroads are mostly clear of snow, and can use the monopod w/shoulder stock, the results should be quite good. :-)
What pleased me is that the focus confirmation worked! Rather well, actually. Cheers! --- David Young, Logan Lake, CANADA Limited Edition Prints at: www.furnfeather.net Personal Web-site at: www.main.furnfeather.net Stock Photography at: http://tinyurl.com/2amll4
