We are definitely on the same page. That's how I bought my R system and how I
recently upgraded some of my M lenses. As well, Erwin's recommendations re.
film-developer combinations have proved to be helpful. I've long been a Delta
100 user but I didn't do much homework regarding developers. It's not to say
that Ilfotec HC was a poor developer, it definitely was not. However, I've just
got into DDX and I can see the difference...I think I can see it, anyway. DDX
doesn't go as far as HC but that's fine. It's supposed to be the developer of
choice for Delta 3200 which can be exceedingly useful under particular
circumstances.

I've read as much of Erwin's stuff as was available to me and I have found it
accurate and helpful. Leica has done well to engage him as a critic.
Dave

Bravo. My experience as well in doing a lot of research before incrementally
purchasing a Leica-R outfit. Equally, I had tried with initial success using
his recommendations on high-res films and developers. Kevin
