Hi everyone!

Klaatu have taken control of their masters and are in the process of having the
albums remastered for re-release on Klaatunes Records. Ted Jones is on board
and will be working with the band on new booklets and layouts and ensuring
quality control in the printing.

First up is Solology, which isn't actually being RE-mastered, but will be
released shortly on Klaatunes Records with an expanded booklet.

At this time, the band have sent the master for 3:47 EST to a world reknowned
mastering engineer for work. They are also entertaining the possibility of a
limited edition re-mastered vinyl release and are interested in hearing from
the fans about the potential interest in such a project.

Terry had recently talked about possibly having a gatefold cover with a glued
in 12 inch booklet (similar to the original US and Canadian pressings of the
Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour LP).

Things like 180 gram virgin vinyl are expensive, but if that's something the
fans would shell out for, then why not? However, the band would be looking to
ensure that this wouldn't be a money losing venture, so there's planning and
investigating to be done.

Are you interested? There's a new survey on the Klaatu web site. Go to
http://www.klaatu.org and you can click a link right near the top of the page
to fill out the survey.

Are you specifically NOT interested? Fill out the survey and indicate that.
There's a place to type a specific message of your choice as well as options to
click on for pre-defined answers to questions.

Some people might want the vinyl to actually listen to.

Some people will want 180 gram vinyl.

Some people might not care about the vinyl quality and only want the 12 inch
booklet and sleeve artwork.

Some people will want this to put in their collection just to show off, "look,
I've got a NEW vinyl LP"!

Some people will want to frame and hang up a new LP.

If you were going to buy this, what would YOU want it for and what would YOU be
looking for?

Please let the band know your interest or lack there of and be as specific as
you want to be.

Enjoy!
