No diff as far as jaws ins concerned, but 2k might be a better fit for the
laptop. also, unless you are doing a lot of heavy network and security
work, xp home has a smaller foot print and will be more than adaquate.

Hi folks,
I have ordered a refurbished Laptop from Dell and it will be arriving
tomorrow without any preinstalled operating system. I am attempting to
determine which system (Windows 2000 or XP Pro) will work better with JFW
Pro 5.0? Which operating system is more likely to have the sound drivers for
this laptop? I realize that the answer to this question is most likely XP
Pro, but my final question is: On a P3 750 MHZ laptop, which operating
system will work more sppedily with JFW?
