I have personally never had any problem whatsoever either with Windows XP
Home or with XP Pro. Windows 2k is an older operating system and will not
be supported for as far into the future by Microsoft as XP will. For XP
pro, however, you will need JAWS Pro.

Win 2k. I recommend it highly. I'ver heard nothing but negative things
about xp from people I meet here and also on this list. Most the threads
you see here with jaws experiencing difficulties w/ an os are w/ win xp or
xp pro.

I have ordered a refurbished Laptop from Dell and it will be arriving
tomorrow without any preinstalled operating system. I am attempting to
determine which system (Windows 2000 or XP Pro) will work better with JFW
Pro 5.0? Which operating system is more likely to have the sound drivers for
this laptop? I realize that the answer to this question is most likely XP
Pro, but my final question is: On a P3 750 MHZ laptop, which operating
