I am using JFW with Win 2000 at the office, Win XP PRO on my laptop, and
did use Win XP home on my laptop before upgrading.
From my experience, I would go with Win XP PRO. Your laptop's processor
will be plenty fast enough.

Hi folks,
I have ordered a refurbished Laptop from Dell and it will be arriving
tomorrow without any preinstalled operating system. I am attempting to
determine which system (Windows 2000 or XP Pro) will work better with
JFW Pro 5.0? Which operating system is more likely to have the sound
drivers for this laptop? I realize that the answer to this question is
most likely XP Pro, but my final question is: On a P3 750 MHZ laptop,
which operating system will work more sppedily with JFW? Thanks, Steve
