What I usually do is at least on my page, there is a button that says "select
language" . Some times though, it is labled switch languages. For example I did
this by writing the following frase in google translate. "Los estudiantes son
revoltosos" Now, google translator sees it is in spanish. Now, there are a few
buttons/links (they change) that say "change language" and "switch language".
If I press "switch language" the phrase troublemaking students (the translation
of the phrase I just wrote) is back translated back to spanish.
\

Now, as a a translator in training Google translator is very literal. For
example the frase "los estudiantes son unos revoltosos" google translate it
as "the students are troublemaking.". Now, you can understand it for sure. But
the meaning is lost in the translation process.

lol, please keep in mind not everyone uses Kurzwhile.

Email me off list if you'd like. I cannot seem to get google translator down.

Just in case you don't want to email me off list here's the issue.

I'm always interested in translating english into spanish but the problem I
have is picking the language to translate into the other language. I seem to
get it some times and others, no.

So, how do I pick english and then pick spanish as the language to translate
the word/phrase into?

Thanks.

Google translator? As a translator-in-traning I am offended. Why use that
garbage? Kurzwhile does a better job anyway.<smile> Kenny, I am just pulling
your chain. Still, I believe google translator is accessible. I've used it
quite a bit (don't tell my professors).

That would be me doing the coding. We're basically deciding on what to work
with. It comes down to what freedom scientific will do in their plans, what
google is doing with google docs, how much time it takes to code, the
difficulty of the application, and the need of everyone as a whole. The earlier
posts state very well what we are considering for the next accessible
application. I can't very well code everything, so it's weighing the options.
This is the only place where I can get the most suggestions out of people who
really have the need. So far, some really good suggestion have been made. MS
access, google docs, and iTunes just to name a few.

Access has got me nervous actually. That application is loaded. I actually hope
FS has it in mind to do something about it. Apparently they must feel the same
about it otherwise they would have coded it themselves.
