Hi Teddy,

I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about this. I hope someone else better
informed can explain it. Good luck.

I'm unclear about something. Some folks are saying, as I hear with every new
release and update, that if you don't like the way the update works for you,
you can always go back to the previous build.

Well, of course if I don't care for Jaws 9 at all, I can always remove it
from the startup group by unchecking that item in the options menu, then go
back to using Jaws 8 if it's still on my hard drive.

But when you update to a new build, rather than a full new version, doesn't
the update process modify and overwrite your program so you have nothing to
go back to unless you reinstall Jaws 9 from the CD or maybe do that famous
system restore I've never performed?

Thanks to anyone who can clarify this. Yes, I'm asking because I'm
hesitating to take the update. From the list of additions and bug fixes I've
seen in a couple of email posts from FS, it doesn't sound as if any of the
problems I have with jaws 9 and have reported have been addressed at all. So
the only reason I'd install the update would be because next time I need
tech support, they'll insist that I be running the latest build.

Thanks again.
