Hi,
As a Word user dependent on Jaws, I'd like to know if this is a Word Find
issue, as suggested by the unchanged subject line? I'd like to learn
everything I can about Word navigation with Jaws.

The keystroke control+alt+home to select a browse object gives problems.
If I press control+alt+home in a table to go to the first cell the
browse object thing comes up instead of jaws moving the cursor to the
first cell. How can I change the select browse object keystroke? I
looked in the customize keyboard dialogue but I can't find any keystroke
for select browse object.

You can use Shift+F4 to find the next occurrence of the find.

I've used word for years, although I used Word 2003 only briefly before
returning to Word 2000 because I preferred its simple, navigable
Thesaurus
function to the profuse, awkward one in Word 2003.
That said, I think you have the same Search (Find) function as usual in
Word: Do search for the first instance of a word or phrase, and then to
look for more instances of the same string you press Control F again,
and
this time tab to the control Find Next, press enter, and so forth.
That's
the way it's always worked, so far as I know. I never thought of it in
terms of comparison to IE, but as its own thing. It's a Word function,
not
a Jaws one as in the browser. If there nonetheless happens to be a
single
keystroke for repeating the search, I never thought about it or heard
about
it.

Can someone explain to me how Jaws works with the Edit/Find... find
text dialogue box in MS Word 2003? How do you navigate to the various
results scattered all through out the body of the text. In IE you can
press
F3 once you've done a find word command and the cursor jumps to every
consecutive appearance of that word. Is there a way to do this in MS
Word?
It doesn't appear entirely obvious to me.
