the problem is more to give people a choice about the software they
want to use.

FS only supports Microsoft software.
Well, they do it quite well that's true.

but actually, right now, with JFW, you have to use MSOffice to write
texts or use spreadsheets.

the problem is that MSOffice cost very high for an individual .

however, There are alternatives like OpenOffice which is totally free,
and guess what?
Even some companies here in France / Europe now begin to use
OpenOffice to reduce software cost.

as blind people, we already pay a very high price for software to
access the computer, so since OpenOffice for example is now a quite
mature product, maybe it would be time to ask FS to do something to
support it.

btw. WordPerfect , as a comercial solution is also cheaper than MS
Office.
but I think OpenOffice is a more interesting solution since it's free.

If you take a look at all the stuff the developpers of this Office
suite have done since 2 years, it's uncredible!
on the other hand, MSOffice have not really progressed since Office
2000.

Well, sorry for the off-topic here.
But to make things simple, we have to ask FS to support software
alternatives to give us a choice between Microsoft offers and at least
one other alternative.. we are the customers after all.
