Claudia,
Is Your Laptop connected to a network at start-up? I have found that since
JAWS has gone to the ILM authorization, there is about a minute delay if I
start my PC when it is not network attached. Startup is normal as long as
the network is available.

Since installing JFW 6.1, it takes longer for my laptop to start speaking, when I'm starting it up than it did, when I was using JFW 4.5. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
