Are you referring to the start-up page in msconfig?
That's different then the start menu.

Check to see if microsoft office is in your start menu. Also, if you can
remove other things from the start menu.

Since installing JFW 6.1, it takes longer for my laptop to start speaking,
when I'm starting it up than it did, when I was using JFW 4.5. Does anyone
know what might be causing this?
