I think that the Jaws startup message is hard wired into their program. 
Taking it out may be more work than it's worth.  Maybe in a future version, 
they should give you a check box to choose whether you want to hear that 
startup announcement or not.
My guess is that you never will see said check box because it's free 
advertising for them.  And, it lets less experienced users know that the 
program is running.
